Kolo Muani Urges France to Step Up Against Spain
France forward, Randal Kolo Muani, is urging his teammates to give their all when they face Spain in the UEFA European Championship semi-final tonight, Tuesday 9 July.
Following a narrow 1-0 victory over Belgium last week, Les Bleus will clash with La Roja at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.
In an interview with a British news outlet on Monday, 8 July, Kolo Muani acknowledged that while France’s defence is solid, they must improve their offence in order to defeat the Spanish team, who are huge favourites to win the tournament.
“It’s true that there’s a lack of presence in front of goal,” the 25-year-old striker said. “We don’t score many goals, but we have the chances. It’s up to us to be more diligent – that will come.”
He continued: “The games are going to get tougher and tougher. We’re going to have to take the semi-final seriously. Spain are one of the best teams in the competition.”
Will France be able to overcome Spain and advance to the final, or will La Roja send Les Bleus packing? Tune in to find out!
